I want to be a: TECHNICAL CONSULTANT!
Assessment centres for next years group of technical consultants are about to start. We’ve had a few of this year’s technical consultant interns blog for us over the past few monthsand wanted to give you a refresher course on what being a technical consultant is all about!
Being a technical consultant intern can mean consulting and working on the development of applications, focusing on user interfaces or working with servers as a lab engineer. In some cases a technical background is optional for a technical consultant role – whereas others NEED some technical know-how.
Leo is a Lab Engineer with Microsoft Technology Centre. The work of a lab engineer is to look after, maintain and love the Microsoft Technology Centre and it’s many servers. This is a role better suited to somebody with an inherent passion for servers and tools – which Leo has plenty of! Read more here.
Yalini and Lee are Consultant interns with Microsoft Consulting Services. In the first few weeks of their internship, Yalini & Lee, and the team of interns they work with, were given an unprecedented project which has garnered them praise from around Microsoft.
