Introducing The Love It 101 Team!
What is LoveIt?
The Love It 101 Team is an internal marketing team managed by 4 interns who are keen on evangelising and promoting the Microsoft consumer products. Our aim is to make every employee in Microsoft UK to LOVE all our consumer products and be proud to tell their friends and family why. Our motto is: “Learn It + Live It = Love It!’ Each Love It member is a manager that is responsible for a particular aspect of the team’s activity, and hence is expected to work independently from time to time.
The team consists of:
- Team Lead - Lene Van der Borght.
- Communications Lead - Andrey Tyurin.
- Events Lead - Katie Gifford.
- Business Group content lead - Anita Kaneti.
How do we do this?
Our main work is focused on creating, planning and executing internal consumer marketing campaigns in the Microsoft offices across the UK. Throughout the year we organise and host a number of promotional campaigns across Microsoft UK, each dedicated to a particular product or set of Microsoft products. For example, last year we hosted a wide range of live events from the launch of Cortana to the revamping the MSN homepage and assisting with various Xbox One game launches, teaching and guiding the MS employees on the new features. Every campaign is heavily advertised through our various internal promotion channels. According to the feedback collected in 2015, over 63% of participants claimed that the Love It Team events were ‘Very valuable’ and 94% agreed that we should keep organising such events.
