Apprentices Get Involved with LaunchPad for Brathay Challenge

This week the Microsoft FY16 Apprentices have been working hard with Homeless Support Charity Launchpad as part of the Brathay Apprentice Challenge. For 35 years, Launchpad have been helping vulnerable and disadvantaged people to turn their lives around and fulfil their potential. The FY16 Apprentices held fundraising buckets and wore branded t-shirts to raise awareness of the charity. This was a hugely successful event as the reach was over 100 employees and everyone who got involved received a free doughnut.

After the awareness event Jason McMahon, Fundraising and Relationship Manager, presented to a number of Microsoft Employees about how they can help Launchpad by getting involved with Launchpad fundraising events.

On behalf of the FY16 Apprentices, we thank everyone who attended the awareness event or presentation by Jason.

For information about how you can make a difference and get involved, contact Georgie Bartley (Brathay Lead) or visit the Launchpad website
